Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) (page 2)

Can a putting green be installed on top of my concrete patio?
Yes, but there are a few changes in the putting green installation process. The biggest concern is in drilling a hole for the cup. Drainage for the cups on the putting green will be limited.

Can a putting green be installed on top of our wood deck?
Yes, but with changes in the putting green installation process. The surface where the synthetic turf is laid must be smooth. The best material to use for decks is a treated marine plywood which is wood screwed to the supports. You will need to make a holder for the putting green cups as well.

Can you chip onto the putting green?
Yes, this putting green will hold a shot from at least 150 yards.

Can I walk on the putting green with my golf shoes?
Yes, but to extend the life of the putting green, we discourage the use of golf shoes on a regular basis. As spikeless shoes become more prominent this should become a non-issue.

Who manufactures the putting green and synthetic lawn turf?
One Putt Greens's sister company is Allpro Greens which manufactures Astroturf. They have developed this putting green and synthetic lawn turf specifically for us. For putting greens it is made for a true ball roll.

What warranty comes with the putting green or synthetic lawn?
We hold the highest manufacturer's warranty on the market, a 10 year warranty against fading, rotting or breaking down, and a one year warranty on installation.
